class=\"wp-block-heading\">Introductie<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Mari\u00eblle Feenstra is beleidsadviseur en expert in gendergelijkheid in de energiesector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ze heeft onlangs haar proefschrift ingeleverd, \u201cGender Just Energy Policy: Engendering the energy transition in Europe\u201d. Als strategisch denker is zij lid van de adviesraad van 75inQ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Europa wordt vaak gezien als koploper, maar &#8230; <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Hoewel de meeste Europeanen denken dat we goed onderweg zijn wat betreft gendergelijkheid, zijn er naar mijn mening lessen voor ons te trekken uit de ervaring van landen als <strong>Pakistan<\/strong> en <strong>India<\/strong>. Als je naar deze landen kijkt, zie je veel vrouwen in de energiesector werken en STEM studeren. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Als je energiebeleid door een gender lens analyseert, geeft <strong>Rwanda<\/strong> ons een mooi voorbeeld van een sterk genderbewust beleid. Ze namen sociale inclusie op in verschillende lagen van hun openbaar bestuur en hebben een <strong>Gender Monitor Officer <\/strong>ge\u00efnstalleerd, een soort gender ombudspersoon die gendergelijkheid monitort en toetst in alle niveaus en in alle sectoren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">In Nederland zijn we er nog niet. <\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Traditioneel zijn er minder vrouwelijke studenten in technische disciplines dan mannelijke studenten. Een casestudy in Bulgarije laat zien dat daar het hoogste percentage vrouwelijke ingenieurs is in Europa en meer vrouwelijke professionals in de energiesector. Maar, veel vrouwen in de energiesector wil nog niet zeggen dat zij in besluitvormende posities werken. Belangrijker, het betekent niet dat het beleid meer gender-bewust is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hoewel ik denk dat we als Nederlanders nog veel werk hebben om een gelijk speelveld te cre\u00ebren, zit er een positief aspect aan. Nederland kan haar eigen weg banen! Misschien kunnen we een manier vinden om de rijke traditie in marketing en ons poldermodel te gebruiken om activiteiten op het gebied van energietransitie te verbeteren en inclusiever te maken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Vrouwelijk leiderschap<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Naar mijn mening mogen we niet alle verantwoordelijkheid op dit gebied op de schouders van vrouwelijke vertegenwoordigers leggen. Vrouwen met machtige posities hebben vaak teveel op hun bord dat genderevenwicht niet op hun prioriteitenlijst staat. Wat we zelfs zien, is dat vrouwen in hoge functies de neiging hebben om geen genderportefeuille te nemen, zodat ze niet als zwak worden ervaren. Ook mannen zullen voorop moeten gaan lopen als het om gendergelijkheid gaat.      <\/span><span class=\"sw-ctt-btn\">Click To Tweet<i class=\"sw swp_twitter_icon\"><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Zichtbare spelers <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Aangezien de energietransitie het energiesysteem verandert van aanbodgericht naar vraaggestuurd, is het cruciaal om een duidelijk en eerlijk beeld te hebben van alle gebruikers van het energiesysteem om het juiste beleid te kunnen maken. Vrouwen vormen een belangrijk onderdeel van de gebruikersgroep en moeten dus meegenomen in besluitvorming en beleidsontwikkeling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">75inQ Community<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Het was een mooie verrassing toen ik hoorde over de nieuwe Community van 75inQ. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ik heb een goed netwerk buiten Nederland maar kende geen vergelijkbaar netwerk in Nederland. Wat dit netwerk onderscheidt, is dat vrouwen in dit netwerk gespecialiseerd zijn in de energietransitie vanuit verschillende disciplines en industrie\u00ebn.
